Perth Urban Bushland Fungi Project update: there will be no fungi events for the general public this winter.

Unfortunately the Perth Urban Bushland Fungi Project has come to the position where there are no funds to operate it over the 2012 fungi season. This means there will be no fungi events for the general public this winter.

Over the past 2 winters the WA Naturalists’ Club has kept the Perth Urban Bushland Fungi Project afloat while we tried to secure sufficient funding to continue. However all recent grant applications have been unsuccessful. We would like to thank those involved in developing the very many grant applications submitted over the past years of the Perth Urban Bushland Fungi Project.

So sadly and unfortunately our fantastic PUB Fungi Project has to be suspended for the time being.

The WA Naturalists’ Club will maintain the fungiperth website for the near future.
